Spotless room with a good shower, but no lift was a hassle.

The central location made it easy to stroll around Ellesmere and explore the local shops. I stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room, which was spacious and spotless, featuring a modern bathroom with a good shower. The complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits were a nice touch that enhanced the cozy feel of the room. the Infra Red Sauna in the room was an unusual but fantastic bonus. noise from the pub's beer garden could be disruptive for anyone sensitive to sound, especially in the early evening. I had issues with inconsistent water pressure in the shower during peak times. While parking was convenient, with a small free area available and a larger council car park next door for just £3 a day, more food options would improve the overall experience. The limited menu and lack of breakfast service were noticeable drawbacks, particularly for a longer stay.

charming, charming, charming
The room I stayed in was a Deluxe Twin Room, spacious and modern with a lovely view of the courtyard. The Infra Red Sauna was a delightful surprise, providing a luxurious touch to my relaxation. Plus, the dining options were standout, especially the superb mixed grill dinner that truly impressed with its quality and portion size.
would recommend 😊❤️

The Deluxe Twin Room offered a cozy ambiance with a generous stock of tea, coffee, and biscuits, making it feel like a home away from home. the lack of breakfast options was disappointing, especially given the price. the noisy bar nearby could be a concern for light sleepers. The location was truly central, providing easy access to local shops and attractions.

Lovely stay with a beautiful view
I enjoyed my stay with a fantastic view over the town rooftops. The room was bright and clean, and the en-suite bathroom was modern with a nice new shower. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and it was conveniently located in the middle of town, making it easy to explore the shops and canal. One improvement could be the noise from the bar, which might be a concern for light sleepers.

Our stay was enjoyable, especially for the kids. They loved playing darts in the cozy lounge after exploring the beautiful canals nearby. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and the large shower was a hit with everyone.
My kids wished for some food options on-site.

Couple seeking comfort
We were in a spacious room which was refurbished to a high standard,, spotlessly clean, and had a lovely large shower room. The hospitality tray was well stocked, a nice touch that made our stay feel special.
It wasn't cheap,, but still acceptable for the quality we got.

The carvery offered here is a solid highlight with exceptionally cooked meats and a variety of fresh vegetables that are far from frozen. The room I stayed in had ample space, was spotless, and the bathroom featured a decent shower, a feature that’s often overlooked.
There were no breakfast options available, making the price feel steep for just a room. I encountered several issues during my stay including noise from the bar that could disrupt sleep, inconsistent water pressure in the shower, and limited food options, especially since the restaurant closed early. Some areas of the hotel look like they could definitely use a refresh. Lastly, heating issues in other rooms have been reported, adding to a list of maintenance needs that should be addressed soon.
